  1. Preheat oven to 400. Butter small baking dish. In small saucepan bring heavy cream to a simmer, add garlic and nutmeg season with salt and pepper. Keep warm. Thinly slice potatoes with a mandolin. In a small bowl, combine pecorino and parmigiana cheese. arrange 1/4 of the potatoes in the prepped baking, overlapping them slightly. Sprinkle 1/4 of cheeses and 1/4 of parsley on top. Repeat the layering 2 more times. Top final layer with remaining cheese. Our cream mixture over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
