Brown sugar 2 tbsp or 18g

Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp or 17g
Directions
- Heat a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in the chopped green bell pepper and onion, and cook until just softened, 3 to 4 minutes. Add the ketchup, water, and minced garlic, and stir to combine.
- Season with brown sugar, chili powder, ground mustard, red pepper flakes, hot sauce, Worcestershire, and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer until thickened and flavors meld, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
