Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high. Add the ground beef and Italian seasoning, breaking up the meat, and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Drain excess fat. Return the pot to medium heat, then stir in the pasta sauce. Simmer until hot. Add the cooked spaghetti and toss until evenly coated and heated through.
  4. Spread the butter over the slices of bread. Serve the sauced spaghetti with the buttered bread, either with two slices as a sandwich, or fold each slice like a hot dog bun.
