  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, then whisk in the cocoa until smooth and glossy.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then whisk in the granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined.
  3. Stir the egg-sugar mixture into the cocoa-butter base. Add the flour, salt, and vanilla; mix just until combined. Fold in the walnut pieces.
  4. Lightly coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray and spread the batter evenly. Bake until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs, about 30 minutes. Cool in the pan 10–15 minutes before cutting.
