Recipe Nutrition Calculator
Paste your ingredients to estimate Calories, protein, carbs, and fat in a recipe. Check the food matches and adjust portions to see nutrition per serving and for the whole batch. No account needed.
How to calculate nutrition in your recipe
We match your ingredients to foods in the Eat This Much database, add up their nutrients, and divide by the number of servings you enter. The food matches and amounts determine how useful the estimate is.
- Enter your ingredients and amounts. Paste one ingredient per line, including quantities such as "1 cup rolled oats" or "200 g chicken breast."
- Set your serving count and calculate. Use the number of portions you plan to divide the batch into, then select Calculate nutrition.
- Review the matches. Check the food, brand, preparation, and amount. Use Edit beside an ingredient to change it; the nutrition updates as you go.
How should I choose the number of servings?
A serving here is your share of the recipe. If you divide a batch into four equal portions, enter 4 and each portion gets a quarter of the total nutrition. Changing the serving count changes the per-serving numbers, not the ingredients or the total for the batch.
What does partial nutrition mean?
An ingredient without a food match or a valid amount isn't included in the totals. Use Edit to choose a food and quantity, or remove the line if it doesn't belong in the recipe. Check the included-ingredient count before relying on the result. A dash means a nutrient value is unavailable, not zero.
Can I calculate recipe Calories without an account?
Yes. You can calculate nutrition and edit ingredients without signing in. Create a free Eat This Much account to save your recipe and use it in meal plans.
How do I make the nutrition estimate more accurate?
Weigh ingredients when you can, include oils and sauces, and check that each match reflects the food you used. Raw and cooked ingredients can have different nutrition per gram. Cooking can also change the final weight and serving size.
How is this different from a calorie calculator?
This tool estimates the Calories and nutrients in a recipe. Our calorie calculator estimates a daily Calorie target, and our macro calculator suggests daily protein, carbohydrate, and fat targets.
