  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 9x9 inch baking tray with parchment; set aside.
  2. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil over a hot water bath until homogenous.
  3. Mix 1 cup cocoa power with the almond flour, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1/4 tsp of sea salt.
  4. Blend 2 avocados with the dates and 1 tsp vanilla extract. When they are blended to a paste add 2 eggs and blend again. Pour in the melted chocolate, mix and blend once more.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly over the bottom. Bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
  6. Frosting: Blend 1 avocado with 1/2 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 cup maple syrup, 2 tsp vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  7. Cover the baked cooled brownies with the frosting. Cut onto pieces and enjoy.
