- mash the avocado. chop jalapeno and 1/2 the onion and mix it together. cut the tomato and the other half of the onion in halves, garlic and put it on the stove in a pot. Put in water to cover it and add some salt and pepper and cumin. Puree it all. Boil it for about 10 minutes or until everything is soft. Add tomato sauce and mix in. spread avocado on the tortilla and add some sauce on top.
