  1. Heat the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and onion, cooking until soft, about 5 minutes. Stir in the sliced Serrano peppers and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  2. Add all the spices and cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
