Carrot Cake Mug Cake

Ingredients

• Wheat flour

  Whole-grain

  ¼ cup or 30g

• Brown sugar

  2 tbsp or 18g

• Cinnamon

  Spices, ground

  ¼ tsp or 0.6g

• Nutmeg

  Spices, ground

  ⅛ tsp or 0.3g

• Butter

  Unsalted

  1 tbsp or 14g

• Carrots

  Raw

  ⅛ cup grated or 14g

• Baking powder

  Leavening agents, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate

  ¼ tsp or 1g

• Reduced fat milk

  Fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin a and vitamin d

  ¼ cup or 61g

• Whipped cream

  Cream topping, pressurized

  1 tbsp or 3g

• Pecans

  Nuts

  ¹⁄₁₆ cup, chopped or 7g

Directions

1. In a small bowl or directly in the mug, combine all ingredients except the whipped cream and pecans. Stir until smooth.
2. Microwave the mixture for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until the cake is cooked through.
3. Serve topped with whipped cream and pecans.
