Rice wine vinegar 1 tbsp or 15g
Cornstarch 1 tbsp or 8g
Directions
- Cut the steak into 1/2-inch to 1-inch cubes.
- Season the steak cubes with paprika, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, oregano, and cornstarch until thoroughly combined. Set aside.
- Heat half of the olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Add half of the steak cubes to the hot oil and cook for 2 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and repeat with the remaining steak cubes, adding extra oil as needed.
- Remove all steak bites from the skillet and set aside.
- Stir the prepared honey garlic sauce and pour one-third of it into the hot skillet; scrape up the browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and pour the remaining sauce over them; cook for 1 to 2 more minutes, or until the sauce starts to thicken.
- Remove from heat and transfer the steak bites to a plate, drizzling with the pan sauce.
