  1. Heat the oven to 350°F and line a sheet pan with parchment.
  2. Whisk together the maple syrup, white miso, soy sauce (tamari), sesame oil, and minced ginger until smooth; if too thick, loosen with a small splash of hot water.
  3. Add the chicken breast and turn to coat thoroughly, reserving any excess sauce.
  4. Place the chicken on the prepared pan and spoon any remaining sauce over the top. Arrange the broccoli and asparagus around it, drizzle vegetables with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender, 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F at the thickest part.
  6. Transfer to a plate and finish with sesame seeds.
