- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the beef or chicken, onion, garlic, ground spices, chilli powder and chopped coriander in a food processor and process until well combined. Roll tablespoons of the meat mixture into balls and place on the prepared baking tray. Bake for about 20–25 minutes or until cooked through, turning from time to time.
- Meanwhile, to make the chilli tomato sauce combine the chopped tomatoes, brown sugar, white wine vinegar and chillies in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until thickened. Season to taste and serve with the meatballs.
