Strawberry Granola Bar

Ingredients

• Coconut oil

  1 tsp or 5g

• Banana

  Raw

  1 medium or 118g

• Reduced fat milk

  Fluid, 2% milkfat, with added vitamin a and vitamin d

  ⅓ cup or 81g

• Honey

  1 tbsp or 21g

• Rolled oats

  Plain, dry oatmeal

  2 cup or 160g

• Strawberries

  Frozen, unsweetened

  1 cup, thawed or 221g

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 300°F and lightly coat an 8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, mix the melted coconut oil, mashed banana, milk, and honey. Stir in the oats until thoroughly coated, then gently fold in the diced strawberries.
3. Press the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 15-19 minutes. Allow to cool completely to room temperature in the pan before slicing into bars. Cover with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
