  1. Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the ground turkey and sprinkle with the salt, pepper, and thyme. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and no longer pink, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the diced onion and cook until softened and translucent, 3–4 minutes.
