Ingredients
Cornstarch 2 tbsp or 15g
Brown sugar 2 tbsp or 18g
Crushed red pepper flakes 1 tsp or 0.3g
Directions
- Prepare rice according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, slice the onion into wedges, chop the bell peppers, thinly slice the carrot, mince the garlic and ginger, and slice the mushrooms.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water. Add the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Add hot water, mix well, and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large deep pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion, bell peppers, and carrots, and sauté for a few minutes until the onions are translucent and fragrant.
