  1. In a large pot on medium high heat, add oil and saute onion, garlic, pepper, carrots and, optionally, turkey, until onions become translucent and turkey is browned.
  2. Reduce to low heat, add beer, broth and spices and bring to a simmer.
  3. Add chicken and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Add zucchini and beans and continue to simmer for one hour.
  5. Season to taste. Serve with garnish.
