Directions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove the bacon from the skillet and set aside, leaving the bacon fat in the pan.
  3. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet with the bacon fat and sauté for about 5 minutes, until they start to soften.
  4. Return the cooked bacon to the skillet and add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together to combine.
  5. Stir in the chopped fresh basil and season with black pepper to taste. Top with parmesan and serve immediately.
