- Roughly chop the cabbage, onion, and bacon.
- Heat half of the olive oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add the bacon and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Add the onion and cook until the onion is caramelized and the bacon is crispy, about 5 more minutes. Add the garlic and pine nuts.
