- Combine the rice, coconut cream, water, sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan and stir to dissolve the sugar.
- Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, then cover, reduce heat to low, and cook until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender, about 15–20 minutes. Try not to lift the lid while cooking.
- Remove from heat and let stand covered for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
